Reda Fhelboom was born in Tripoli and studied chemical engineering at Tripoli University and Manchester University, where he was also a lecturing assistant. He returned to Libya in 2011 and started his career in media as a radio presenter, an assistant managing editor at the Tripoli Post, then as a TV anchor and content producer at Libya International. He also contributes freelance articles to international newspapers. Fehlboom is a human rights activist and an active member of The Libyan Centre for the Defence of Freedom of Journalists “HESEN.”
